By using the Salwa Co-operative Society app you agree to the following.

1) Who can order

The service is available within the Salwa area, to anyone aged eighteen or over, or ordering under the supervision of a guardian.

You do not have to be a shareholder in the Society to order, though some benefits may be limited to shareholders.

2) Prices

  • Prices are in Kuwaiti dinars.
  • Prices are shown as they stand in the Society's system at the time of display, and may change without prior notice.
  • The price that applies is the price at the time the order is confirmed.
  • We do our best to keep prices and descriptions accurate; even so, a typographical or data error may occur. In that case we may cancel the order and refund the full amount, with no further obligation.

3) Product availability

  • An item shown as "available" reflects the system's stock at the time of display, and may run out before the order is prepared.
  • If an item runs out after you order, we contact you to choose a substitute or to remove the item and refund its value.
  • Weighed items are ordered in fixed weights chosen on the product page (for example 250 g, 500 g or 1 kg).
  • Displaying a product in the app is not a commitment to sell it; the contract is concluded only when the Society confirms the order.

4) Minimum order and delivery

  • Minimum order: KD 5.
  • Delivery within the Salwa area.
  • Delivery details and times are on the Shipping & Delivery page.

5) Payment

The available payment methods appear at checkout: KNET, card (Visa/Mastercard), and Apple Pay.

  • Payment is processed through an approved payment gateway, and your card details do not pass through the Society's servers.
  • If payment fails, the order is not treated as confirmed.

6) Changing and cancelling an order

  • You can change or cancel your order as long as it has not entered preparation.
  • Once prepared, it is treated as a live order and the Returns Policy applies to it.
  • The Society may cancel any order, stating the reason and refunding the amount, in cases including: the item running out, an obvious price error, or suspected misuse.

7) Member accounts

  • You are responsible for your sign-in credentials and for orders placed from your account. Do not share your credentials with anyone, and tell us if you notice unauthorised use of your account.
  • The addresses you save to your account are yours: edit or delete them whenever you wish from "My Account", and deleting the account deletes all of them.
  • What is stored in your account, and how it is used, is set out in the Privacy Policy.

8) Membership and the shareholder card

  • The membership card in the app is a means of identification, not a means of payment.
  • You enter the box number yourself, and the Society verifies it at payout.

9) Use of the app

The following are prohibited:

  • Using the app for any unlawful purpose, or to harm the service or its users.
  • Attempting unauthorised access to any part of the system or to another person's data.
  • Automated extraction of data, prices or content by any means.
  • Misusing offers or repeating them through fake accounts.

The Society may suspend service to any user who breaches this.

10) Intellectual property

The Society's name, logo and app content are owned by the Society and may not be used without written permission.

11) Limitation of liability

  • We provide the service with reasonable care, and do not warrant that it will be free of interruption or error.
  • The Society is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
  • None of the above limits the rights granted to you as a consumer under Kuwaiti Consumer Protection Law No. 39 of 2014 and its executive regulations.

12) Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

13) Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated, and a change takes effect from the date it is published in the app. Continuing to use the app after publication counts as acceptance.

If this page differs from the Society's system, the system prevails.
